Hollister Child Development Center offers a homework club that helps children with their homework on a daily basis. The program also includes academic and enrichment programming support for school-age children. Hollister Child Development Center provides care and education for children three months to 12 years of age and serves meals at no separate charge to all enrolled children through the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP).
• Ages: 3 months–12 years old
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• Price: An annual $150 registration fee is non-refundable as well as one week of tuition is due as a non-refundable deposit upon enrollment of the child. One week tuition should be paid in advance and will be credited to the child’s account.
The mission of Hollister Child Development Center is to provide a fun, loving, caring, and stimulating environment that meets the needs of children and nurtures their physical, emotional, intellectual, social, and language development, with a goal of providing high quality childcare while striving to meet NAEYC educational standards. The center is EARLY LITERACY CERTIFIED and PRESCHOOL SHINE Certified, where SHINE stands for Shaping, Healthy, Impressions Through Nutrition and Exercise. In infant and toddler programs, the center uses the PITC (Programs for Infant/Toddler Caregiving) approach and uses continuity of care where a staff member may travel with a group of children from infancy to toddlerhood. Preschool programs use play based and emergent curriculum that is child directed and teacher supported, and the school age program includes a homework club and academic and enrichment programming support. Hollister Child Development Center participates in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) offered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and operates on a non-discriminatory basis affording equal access to services without regard to listed protected characteristics.
