San Benito Stage Company offers experiences in acting, dance, voice, and technical theatre. Participants take part in theatrical productions that include these areas of performance and backstage work.
SBSC is now in its 23rd year of bringing live theatre entertainment to San Benito County and beyond. According to its mission statement, San Benito Stage Company provides performing arts experiences for its members and patrons and offers educational opportunities in acting, dance, voice, and technical theatre. The organization promotes theatre arts and community involvement through the challenge of creating theatrical productions. San Benito Stage Company is supported in part by the San Benito Arts Council's National Endowment for the Arts American Rescue Plan grant. Board members meet monthly to set the vision and direction of San Benito Stage Company and also volunteer their time during each production. Every year, San Benito Stage Company awards two scholarships to college-bound graduating high school seniors or current college students.
