Art at HBAC Summer Camp
Huntington Beach Art Center, 538 Main St, Huntington Beach, CA 92648
About
Art at HBAC Summer Camp focuses on visual arts, with campers creating works of art and exploring a variety of media based on their chosen camp theme. Campers select from six weekly themes and spend the week working in a dedicated art studio.
• Ages: 6–12 years old
The camp is staffed by professional contemporary artists. According to the program’s mission statement, art campers learn how to think creatively and to develop artistic terminology and skills in a fun and challenging environment. Camp enrollment includes one camp tee shirt per child and all art materials, and parents or guardians must complete a health form for each child and submit it on the first day of the camp session. Camp size is limited to 15 children per week, subject to change, and registration is available on HBSands.org. The program also invites families to support the local arts community through donations that contribute to the Art Center’s arts programming, events, and exhibitions.
