Clifton Dance Project

Clifton Dance Project offers classes in ballet, tap, hip-hop, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, and voice. The studio provides dance classes in jazz, tap, ballet, hip hop, and voice for students from 3 years of age through adult. CDP offers a wide variety of dance classes geared towards various skill levels, from beginner to advanced.

• Schedule: Class options Monday–Saturday during afternoon and evening hours on weekdays and morning to early afternoon on Saturdays

The stated mission of Clifton Dance Project is “Developing strong technique in the art of dance while enhancing the dancers' connection to the music and the art form.” Instructors have a diverse background ranging from professional stage performance and choreography through to years of studio-based instruction. Keith and Linda Clifton decided to open their own studio in Huntington Beach, and the opening of Clifton Dance Project in September 1996 launched a major new dance studio in Orange County.

Clifton Dance Project Company is a high school performing and competition group that meets twice weekly for choreography and rehearsal in addition to the dancers' regular classes, and company members must be enrolled at Clifton Dance Project and are selected on the basis of technique, attitude, and availability. The CDP Summer Dance Workshop features classes in ballet, tap, hip-hop, and jazz for intermediate and advanced dancers.
