OC Youth Sports • Tournament of Champions

OC Youth Sports • Tournament of Champions is a school-based series of tournaments that includes soccer, flag football, basketball, and volleyball. Events in this series include Volley Fest in November, Harvest Cup in December, Winter Bowl in January, and Hoops Classic in March. Over the course of the year, schools are awarded points based on their performance in each tournament, and at the end of the year the school with the most points is presented with the Champions Cup to display at their school.

The OC Youth Sports • Tournament of Champions is a school-based series of tournaments that raises funds to support the Irvine Public Schools Foundation (IPSF) and Tustin Public School Foundation (TPSF). Ten dollars from every player registration is donated to Irvine Public Schools Foundation (IPSF) or Tustin Public Schools Foundation (TPSF), depending on the student’s school district. Each school may submit a maximum of 2 teams per division, with Volley Fest allowing two teams per grade in combo divisions. Tournaments adopt a “Pool Play into Bracket Play” format, and the Hoops Classic Tournament is played across two weekends, with Pool Play followed by Bracket Play.

All participants will receive a reversible jersey from OC Youth Sports for certain events, and all participants are required to wear the provided jerseys to play. “Away” jerseys or custom school shirts are no longer required, and no custom jerseys are allowed. There is a staff scorers table for Volley Fest Championship games. There are 2 referees for all games in Winter Bowl, 2 referees for all games in Harvest Cup, 2 referees for Championship games in Volley Fest, and 2 referees for bracket play in Hoops Classic.
