VolleyOC offers volleyball instruction and training through private and small group lessons, summer volleyball camps, and classes. Adult classes run year-round on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings and on Saturday and Sunday mornings, and the first Irvine or Huntington class is free. Classes are typically two hours long and include an hour of drills followed by an hour of guided play.

About the provider
Ed Ratledge is the founder and director of VolleyOC. He is described as an AVP/NCAA Champion and a 20+ year professional, and the site also says he is a 22 year AVP professional and, as of Winter 2017, the 11th ranked player on the AVP. VolleyOC runs nearly 50 events each year for high level youth volleyball players at its courts at Newland Street in Huntington Beach.
Intermediate and above classes are only for players who can already play 2-on-2 with a similar level partner. Newport/Corona Del Mar classes require a Newport Beach parks and rec registration. Participants agree to the VolleyOC waiver when registering or subscribing.
