The Dragon Kim Foundation Music Program offers free music instruction and lends out free instruments and music supplies for every student to use at home. At Orange County School of the Arts, children can join a choir, a band, or a strings orchestra. At the California School of the Arts – San Gabriel Valley, the program offers general music instruction, ukulele, and guitar instruction.

About the provider
Teren Shaffer oversees the Dragon Kim Foundation Music Program. The Foundation started the program in 2015 and began serving 14 children in January 2016. The program now serves 200+ young children and high school teaching assistants every year. Its mission is to inspire youth to impact their communities while discovering and pursuing their passions. It serves underserved children and young children, with one location in Los Angeles County and one in Orange County.
The program is 100% tuition free. It serves children with limited access to musical instruction and high school teaching assistants. At the Orange County School of the Arts, children can join a choir, a band, or a strings orchestra. At the California School of the Arts – San Gabriel Valley, the program offers general music instruction, ukulele, and guitar instruction.
