About
The Summer Youth Science Fellowship Program is a six-week, laboratory-based cancer research program for high school students. Participants spend about 30 hours per week learning and training in a single lab under assigned mentor(s). About 20 students are hosted each year, and about 150 applications are received each year.

About the provider
The program immerses high school students in laboratory-based cancer research and includes contact with leaders in the field, peers, researchers, and mentors. It concludes with a research symposium where students present their work to faculty, students, and the community.
