Early Childhood Learning Center

The Early Childhood Learning Center is described as one district preschool that serves IUSD preschoolers and their families through a seamless continuum of inclusive programming. The program provides developmentally, culturally, and linguistically appropriate opportunities that facilitate and support ongoing learning and development.

The Early Childhood Learning Center was established in 2002 to bring together all of the Irvine Unified School District early childhood education programs to establish one district preschool. ECLC staff are described as highly trained and qualified professionals who provide developmentally, culturally, and linguistically appropriate opportunities that facilitate and support ongoing learning and development. The leadership team includes Principal Erin Ferguson, Admin Assistant to the Principal Diana Bisoffi, Assistant Principal Martha Kelly, and Assistant Principal Jen O'Donnell. The Early Childhood Learning Center is part of the Irvine Unified School District and serves IUSD preschoolers and their families. The program is associated with the California QRIS Program, is noted as the only preschool in California with a PTA, references PBIS: CUBS Care!, and is mentioned in connection with First 5 Orange County.
