Woodbridge Children’s School

Woodbridge Children’s School offers Toddler Twos with play, hands-on experiences, sharing, teamwork, self-help skills, and independence, and it includes potty training. It also offers Early Preschool with dramatic play, blocks, manipulatives, art, science exploration, stories, music, and movement, plus Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten, Junior Kindergarten, and Private Kindergarten with hands-on and inquiry-based learning.

Programs

• Toddler Twos — 18–32 months · Children learn through play, hands-on experiences, sharing, teamwork, self-help skills, and independence. We Potty Train!
• Early Preschool — 32-36 months · Play-based activities include dramatic play, blocks, manipulatives, art, science exploration, stories, music, art, and movement.
• Preschool — 3 years (by Sept 1) · Hands-on, nurturing, developmentally appropriate program that fosters wonder and excitement for learning.
• Pre-Kindergarten — 3.6 Years (by Sept 1) · Hands-on projects and active play with literacy and math emphasis, skill mastery, and Zoo-phonics.
• Junior Kindergarten — 4 Years (by Sept 1) · Playful, hands-on lessons using games, songs, stories, and movement.
• Private Kindergarten — 5 Years (by Sept 1) · Hands-on and inquiry-based learning with a focus on academic, cognitive, social, and emotional growth.

About the provider

For over four decades, Woodbridge Children’s School has been a cornerstone of Irvine and the village of Woodbridge. It began in 1982 as a vision for family-focused education and opened in 1986 under founding Director Ruby Fulton. The school is fully licensed, follows NAEYC standards, is non-profit, and has leadership listed as Ms. Sheila Rafat-Saint, School Director, and Ms. Melissa Thompson, Associate Director.

• Specialty Enrichment Classes — Optional enrichment programs offered at the school with additional fees. Examples listed: Art, Cooking, Dance/Gymnastics, Farsi, Spanish, Sports & Fitness, Yoga.

Currently enrolling at all program levels, though some programs and availability may be limited as the campus is impacted. Admission uses a tour and registration link through ProCare Family Connect. Safe and nurturing space; enhanced health and safety; we provide a fresh, nutritious, organic menu.
