IPSF Classes & Camps

IPSF Classes & Camps offers summer classes and camps for PreK-12 students, including academic, enrichment, and specialty camp options. It also offers elementary summer classes with morning and afternoon in-person periods, middle school summer classes, high school summer classes, specialty camps, innovation camps with a different theme each week, IPSF Specialty Camps in STEAM, creative performing and fine arts, and culinary adventures, and Afterschool Classroom Enrichment (ACE) classes that run for 1 hour after school.

Programs

• Summer classes and camps — PreK-12 · Classes and camps for summer; includes academic, enrichment, and specialty camp options.
• Elementary summer classes — Incoming Grades Pre-K-6 · Morning and afternoon; up to two periods of in-person classes per day · Academic and enrichment classes designed for elementary students.
• Middle school summer classes — Incoming Grades 7-8 · Academic and elective-style classes for middle school students.
• High school summer classes — Incoming Grades 9-12 · Academic and enrichment classes for high school students.
• Specialty camps — Incoming Grades K-12 · Immersive enrichment opportunities held outside the Session A and B format at various sites throughout Irvine.
• Innovation camps — Camp Galileo camps with a different theme each week and projects designed for every age group.
• IPSF Specialty Camps — Hands-on, immersive camps in STEAM, creative performing and fine arts, and culinary adventures.
• Afterschool Classroom Enrichment (ACE) — After school; classes run for 1 hour (60 minutes) · Afterschool enrichment classes offered at select schools.

About the provider

IPSF was founded in 1996 by concerned parents and community leaders. Its mission is to enrich the educational experience of each child in every school. IPSF says it provides programs, raises funds, and unites the community in support of educational excellence, and it sponsors enrichment programs after school and during the summer while providing financial support to the school district for educational excellence in Irvine schools.

Students who meet age and grade requirements may attend classes, no matter where they live. All students should have a basic understanding of English. Students are not allowed to enroll out of their appropriate grade/age level. Students in an incorrect class may be dropped and not receive a refund. ACE classes are only at the student's home school and students may only take after school classes at the school they currently attend. ACE classes are 1 hour (60 minutes) unless otherwise noted. ACE class capacities vary from 12-16 students per class.
