About

Jordan Lawley Youth Basketball Programs include the Lil Dribblers League, The 3-on-3 League, and camps and clinics for the youngest players. The program also runs 3-on-3 league games in a real bracket, using the same drills that professional players run, with the same standards for all groups. The same coaching is provided to NBA pros and to first-season kids in these programs.

• Ages: 5–18 years old

Since 2013, Jordan Lawley has led the program, bringing experience as a collegiate All-American at UC San Diego and a former professional player in New Zealand. He is described as one of the best basketball skills trainers in the world, with 13 years on the floor with hundreds of NBA, WNBA, FIBA, and NCAA athletes, and has been an NBA Pre-Draft trainer since 2016 and NBA All-Star Celebrity Game trainer since 2017. His credentials also include being Adidas-sponsored, hosting the Australian Olympic Team, working the Nike Bigman Camp in Korea in 2016 and 2019, and appearing in a WNBA Watch Me Work commercial in 2016. The program’s stated mission is: “Basketball was never the destination. It was the vehicle. To serve. To teach. To point everything back to Him.”

Boombase Irvine, where the program trains, includes a film station, a strength corner, and a live-action area for game-speed reps, and pros from the NBA and WNBA, as well as local high school players, train there. One parent of a 7th grader reported that their son’s confidence “skyrocketed” after joining The 3-on-3 League and that he became more aggressive with the ball and better at creating space. Another 6th-grade parent said the 3-on-3 format kept every kid moving, thinking, and touching the ball, and that their child improved faster there than in any skills camp they had tried. An 8th-grade parent shared that the league “actually teaches basketball IQ,” noting changes in how their son saw the floor, communicated, and played with purpose. A 6th-grade parent said their son used to shy away from the ball, but the 3-on-3 format pushed him to stay involved on every possession and attack the rim with confidence. A Lil Dribblers parent described their first-season hooper as having a “phenomenal time” and already signed up for the next season. Another youth program parent said their child looks forward to attending each Saturday and smiles the entire time. A Lil Dribblers parent for Alec said they loved the welcoming, positive, and supportive atmosphere and that the coaching and sense of community were a pivotal part of his basketball journey.
