ODP Zone Camps offers sports-based camps that include water polo training in a pool. Camp curriculum will build upon previous camps, and all ODP camp registration is done by birth year.
• Ages: 11–18 years old
• Schedule: Registration will close on the Friday prior to the camp at 5:00 pm, and the event will reopen for late registration until noon the day of the camp.
• Price: One day camps are $205. Two day camps are $240. Discounted pricing is available for Shieldy members, and late registration has an additional late fee charge of $25.
These camps are open to all USA Water Polo Silver or Gold athletes. In order to be identified for a zone team roster, an athlete must attend at least one camp within their zone, and an athlete can attend additional ODP camps in any zone. Athletes who were members of a National Team roster the previous year must still attend at least one camp to continue in the pipeline. For California zones, these camps are not in conflict with CIF rules and have been cleared with the CIF Sacramento office. Camp fees are not refundable, with the only exception due to injury or illness if requested via email 24 hours prior to the start of the camp. Anyone who is or will be 18 by the time of the camp must be SafeSport certified to register for the camp.
Families are asked to make sure athletes bring water, lunch, snacks, a towel, goggles, and appropriate gear for the dry land workout, including athletic shoes, shorts, and a T-shirt. Late add athletes need to bring proof of registration with them to the camp.
ODP Zone Camps is run by USA Water Polo, which is a member of the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee.
