Matt Leinart Flag Football

Matt Leinart Flag Football is a youth flag football league where kids play organized flag football games. The league offers a positive, fast-paced environment for boys and girls in grades K–8 to learn the game, play with friends, and fall in love with football. It promotes a competitive, confidence-building, non-contact football experience with a focus on teamwork, sportsmanship, and skill-building.

• Ages: 5–13 years old
• Schedule: Games are run on Friday nights in the Fall, Winter and Spring.

Founded in Newport Beach in 2010, Matt Leinart Flag Football is one of the premier youth flag football leagues in the country and is a flag football league for kids in grades K–8th with an emphasis on community fun. The league is for both boys and girls of all skill levels and features games under the lights. The goal of the league is to provide a fun league for kids to be involved in, while also developing and furthering their football skills.

The league was founded by Matt Leinart, a Heisman Trophy winner, high school C.I.F championship winner, and two-time NCAA champion. The Matt Leinart Flag Football League is in conjunction with the NFL Flag Football program.
