Lil’ Chef School

Lil’ Chef School offers weekly cooking classes, 2-hour baking workshops, parents night out sessions, family fun nights, summer camp, holiday and mini-camps, birthday parties, and adult cooking. The program also lists an Adult-n-Me option for ages 3-5 and holiday and mini-camps for ages 4-18. Weekly Cooking Classes meet 1 day per week for 90 minutes, and Summer Camp meets weekly for 3 hours each day.

• Summer Camp — Ages 5 & Up · Weekly, 3 hours each day · $499 per week · Camps are theme-based with assorted recipes.
• Holiday & Mini-Camps — Ages 4-18 · 1 to 5-day camps, 3 hours · $125 per day · Holiday camps include Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Winter, Spring, and Day Camps.

About the provider

Lil’ Chef School was established in 2010. Tracey Doty is the owner and founder. The school says it is a children’s cooking school that offers birthday parties, cooking classes, workshops, special events, field trips, and camps to children from ages 3 to adult. It also states that it specializes in kitchen safety and teaches children how to cook by introducing various age-appropriate cooking techniques.

Event fees are non-refundable and all sales are final. A credit may be issued toward a future event if 48-hour advanced notice is given. For Charter Funds, a purchase order must be approved and sent to Lil’ Chef School before the start of class. There are no make-up classes or refunds. Classes and camps are offered in their Irvine facility and often on school campuses during and after school hours.
