ABC Barn Children's Place Preschool includes weekly chapel sessions and chapel time with Ms. Gina. The program also offers before and after school programs for elementary age children.

ABC Barn Children's Place Preschool is a community ministry of Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church to serve the families in their neighborhood. The program seeks to enrich the cognitive, physical, social, emotional and spiritual lives of preschool children, and to provide before and after school programs for elementary age children. It is not an objective of ABC Barn Children's Place to provide specific religious or parochial instruction. The program includes a focus on nutrition and bodily health and uses intentional spaces that meet the needs of each age group for children ages 2–11. Required child/staff ratios and other mandated regulations are considered minimum requirements only.
The staff of the Center are chosen on the basis of a friendly, caring way with children, and on professional training and competence. ABC Barn Children's Place is a community ministry of Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church to serve the families in their neighborhood, and it strives to support the family unit through its caring and professionally competent staff.
