La Mirada Soccer Association offers recreational youth soccer, competitive youth soccer, and TOPSoccer. The program also holds special events such as the LMSA Easter Egg Hunt and LMSA Galaxy Night.

The stated goal of La Mirada Soccer Association is to provide children and adolescents in the La Mirada area access to a high quality recreational and competitive youth soccer program, with objectives that include developing good character and sportsmanship among players, coaches, referees, and spectators, developing all-around athletic coordination and prowess, perpetuating a positive learning experience, and assuring every participant an equal opportunity to play soccer. The program is open to all children between 4 and 14 years of age for recreational soccer who want to register and play soccer. Features of the recreational program include guaranteed playing time for every player on every recreational team, forming new recreational teams each year to be as evenly balanced as possible, open registration for all children between 4 and 14 years of age for recreational soccer, training and encouragement for coaches to offer positive support to players, an emphasis on good sportsmanship in every facet of LMSA, and a focus on player development through soccer skills, physical fitness, and character building through teamwork. Online registration is available only at lamiradasoccer.org for Spring 26 Registration, and Early Bird Pricing is offered for certain registrations such as Fall '25 Registration for REC and TOPSoccer.
The leadership team includes Bernardo De La Torre (President), Art Jimenez (Vice President), Sandra Paulo-Hernandez (Secretary), and Gina McIlvain (Treasurer). Additional roles include Susie Carbajal as Registrar; John Browne, Rudy Vlk, and Jose Ortega as Directors of Coaches; Michele Brainard and Linda Young as Team Parent Coordinators; Mark Del Pino as Director of Players; Ruben Orozco as Director of Referees; and Ramon Alliman as Director of Competitive (La Mirada FC).
