Programs for Young Audiences presents live entertainment for children and their families. Programs for Young Audiences was established in 1977 to present the finest in live entertainment for children and their families. More than 8 million patrons have passed through La Mirada Theatre’s doors since 1977. The theatre is home to Phantom Projects Theatre for Teens and the La Mirada Symphony. The Producing Artistic Director is BT McNicholl. La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts is widely known as one of the most enjoyable places to attend live events in the region, and has been described by the Los Angeles Times as “One of the best Broadway-style houses in Southern California.” In this age of movies and television, this is very often a child’s first exposure to a live performance.
