US Taekwondo Center La Mirada is a family-oriented martial arts school dedicated to developing strong character, discipline, and confidence in every student. It uses a belt system with beginner ranks of White, Yellow, and Purple; intermediate ranks of Orange and Green; and advanced ranks of Blue, Brown, Red, Red/Black, and Black. The school describes its approach as a positive, encouraging training environment and offers testing and tournaments, with many students training there for years and progressing from beginners to black belts who lead by example at home, at school, and in the community. The program offers age-appropriate classes from Tiny Tigers/Pee Wee through adult students and organizes its schedule into A and B days. For a trial class, students are asked to wear comfortable workout clothes, arrive 10 minutes early to check in, arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before class, and be picked up immediately after class.
