• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: CKs (K–5) and Encounter (6–12th) meet on Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m.
The youth programs are part of a broader church schedule that also includes an Adult Bible Study on Wednesdays from 6:00–7:00 p.m., a Ladies' Bible Study on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Mondays of each month from September through June at 6:00 p.m., and a men's small group Bible Study in the Activity Center each Saturday from 7:30–9:00 a.m. The Spanish Ministry offers a small group Bible Study each Wednesday at 6:00 p.m., a Spanish Sunday School class at 9:15 a.m. on Sunday, and a Spanish Ministry Worship Service at 10:30 a.m., with an English translator available at each Spanish Ministry service. Calvary Baptist is a small congregation of about 75–100 members, allocates at least 10% for mission activity, and is part of the Baptist Missionary Association of America and the Southern Coast District of the Baptist Missionary Association of California.
The youth programs are led within a church whose Youth Pastor is Frank Garrido and Pastor is Lincoln (also referred to as Pastor Lincoln and Brother Lincoln Dial). Calvary Baptist Church was organized into a New Testament Church on September 6th, 1953, and states that the extent of its ministry for the past 55 years has been felt around the world. The church describes itself as a group of Christians who love the Lord, believe deeply in the Great Commission, and highly value good Christian fellowship, and states that no matter where a person comes from or where they are, they are welcome at Calvary Baptist Church. The church describes itself as a servant to men, a representative in flesh and blood of Jesus, democratic in organization, impartial in administration, open to the leadership of the Spirit of God, and committed to preaching Christ’s Gospel of the Kingdom around the world. The church states that its ministry to the community includes education, benevolence, counseling, Bible exposition, sports, convalescence, and use of buildings, and that it could best be described as a body with conservative theology but liberal fellowship.
