Viva el Español

Viva el Español offers a variety of engaging activities for children, including singing, dancing, movement, role-playing, games, stories, arts and crafts, cooking, and food projects. The program emphasizes culturally based learning activities and uses high-quality manipulatives, visuals, music, and cultural items from Spanish-speaking countries.

The program is staffed by native Spanish speakers who are professionals in their fields, including artists, dancers, musicians, and educational specialists. Viva el Español aims to build enthusiasm for language learning and promote the learning of Spanish at a prime language learning time. It serves children and adults in the San Francisco Bay Area, specifically in the East Bay and Marin.
