Sizzling Latin Dance Studio – Kids & Teen DanceSport Program offers dance lessons that include ballroom dancesport, Kids Competitive DanceSport, and a Preteen Competitive DanceSport Program. The program includes Kids/Teen classes, a Competitive program, and access to a broader DanceSport Training Program, with options for private lessons and group classes. No partner is needed for partner dancing, because the instructor will partner students.

Sizzling Latin Dance Studio offers dance lessons for all ages and levels from social to wedding and competitive youth DanceSport, along with Kids/Teen classes and Youth Pro/Am dancing that is described as similar to Dancing with the Stars where the student is the star. The kids program emphasizes sparkling costumes, fancy events, lifelong discipline, leadership skills, and confidence. Studio hours are listed as Monday–Sunday, 8am–11:30pm, and there is an option to create a private group with 6 or more people and arrange times and days upon request, as well as an option to book, buy, or gift a lesson, including gift certificates for dance lessons.
Sizzling Latin is directed by Timea Potys, whose professional dance partner is Zsolt Katona. Trainers at the studio are registered by the World Dance Council and the National Dance Council of America. Founder Timea is a world champion dancer, a former head coach of the UC Berkeley and UCSC dance teams, a Professional Latin Rising Star Finalist and Open Professional Latin finalist representing the US in major competitions, and has 15 years of dance teaching experience and a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering. Timea is described as a world class professional dance coach, performer, and choreographer who has competed as a professional athlete and international champion dancer in 78 cities worldwide.
The studio’s mission statement is “Where we raise champions both in dancing and for life.” DanceSport at this studio is recognized as Dance SPORT by the United States Olympic Committee, and students have earned first place awards at international and regional competitions in the San Francisco Bay Area. Students can enter US national championships and later world championships, and some groups are preparing for the youth Olympic games. Company dance lesson retreats are available both online and in-person, and teaching locations include Pleasant Hill, Oakland, Dublin, Emeryville, and Fremont, California.
