MH Equine Riding School Camps

MH Equine Riding School Camps offers Summer Camp 2026 for ages five to twelve. Campers take a private riding lesson, groom horses, play games, make a craft, and take part in a horse show at the end of the week. The camp runs Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and costs $550 per session.

About the provider

The leadership team includes Mickey Hayden, Owner; April Watson, Manager/Bookkeeper; Estella Lindsey, Trainer/Instructor; Cameron Young, Instructor/Camp Lead Supervisor; Isabel Jagerman, Riding Instructor; and Brook Pineda, Camp Instructor. Mickey Hayden has been the Head Trainer since 1979, and the site says the program has over three decades as a full-service show barn. The program says its camps focus on basic riding skills and horse care. Hayden Clarke Sport Horses partners with the Nellie Gail Equestrian Center every year to share its passion for horses with over 175 new camp students.

Novice camp includes safe handling of horses, horse care, feeding, grooming, tacking, 25 minutes of private riding time per day one on one with an instructor, horse-related arts & crafts, games, contests, watching professional riders train, ride, and jump horses, painting and bathing horses, horse terminology, a T-shirt, and an end-of-week party.
