South Orange County Martial Arts Academy (SOCMAA) describes itself as a premiere studio and the area’s finest martial arts school. The program offers traditional martial arts and describes itself as a leader in reality based self-defense, with a curriculum that focuses on realistic self defense concepts and life skills such as respect, perseverance, confidence, focus and self-discipline. Kids Classes for ages 7–12 are specifically described as developing children into confident, focused and disciplined young adults, and the Little Dragons program for ages 3–7 is described as offering a strong foundation in character qualities such as courtesy and respect. Private lessons are available for ages 3 and up with Master Frank Ebrahimi, with schedules set on a case by case basis.

The academy’s mission states that it is committed to promoting a positive mental attitude and a high level of physical fitness through the study of Kung Fu San Soo, and to building and empowering students to be more successful in life through the practice of martial arts while influencing them in a positive manner. Master Frank Ebrahimi is listed as the leader, with Master Frank identified specifically with Kung Fu San Soo. SOCMAA states that students are coached to become efficient in all ranges of combat, including kicking, boxing, trapping, grappling, ground, and weaponry, and that San Soo is a pure form of Chinese martial arts also known as Kung Fu San Soo. San Soo at this academy is described as not being a tournament sport and is based on the premise that there are no rules in a fight, incorporating techniques that aim to remove a threat as quickly and effectively as possible, with some practitioners aiming to end a fight within ten seconds using merely three blows. SOCMAA also states that students will reduce stress, increase flexibility, become confident, have good self-esteem and learn self mastery, training mind, body and spirit.
