Wave Gymnastics

Wave Gymnastics offers Tide Pools for ages 1-3 with a Guardian required to participate, Waders for ages 3-4, Junior Wave for ages 5-6, and Wave Riders for ages 7-14. It also offers Mavericks (team) for ages 5-18, private lessons, and classes for girls ages 1-14 and boys ages 1-4. The program schedule says all levels are welcome in the classes, and the Mavericks Team is invite only.

• Mavericks (team) — 5-18 · Invite only program; compete at NGA and USAG events; level 3-9; referral from another gym can be evaluated

At a glance

About the provider

Wave Gymnastics started in 2017. Angie and Tina lead the program, and as of 2024 they have been in the gymnastics business for over 40 years and have coached for more than 36 years each. The mission statement says the gym aims to build a better gymnastics environment by coaching with care, making sure athletes have a well balanced life, reinforcing good habits and form with an understanding of their limits, and strengthening confidence.

Tide Pools requires a Guardian to participate. Tide Pools participants do not have to be potty-trained yet. Waders are potty trained and ready to try things without their parents by their side. All levels are welcome as long as they have the bravery to try.
