About

Summer Youth Art Camp offers youth art classes led by instructors who are well-known local artists in their fields of study. All materials are included for each class at Summer Youth Art Camp.

• Schedule: Registration at the Main Street Gallery begins June 1.

The Summer Youth Art Camp has been in operation since 2012. The program is run by the Lake County Arts Council, which was founded in 1981 to acknowledge, celebrate, and involve the community in the arts as an enriching component of daily life. The Council is a not-for-profit volunteer organization and a member of the California Arts Council, which is the officially recognized art organization to the State and Local Partnership Program. The purpose of the art organization is to encourage and develop the arts and cultural activities in Lake County by coordinating, developing, sponsoring, and providing assistance in artistic and cultural endeavors.
