Koshiki Karate-Do is a traditional Okinawan martial arts school that teaches Shorin-Ryu Karate-Do, specifically the Shidokan Shorin-Ryu branch. Classes include kumite (sparring), kata (forms), weapons (kubudo), self-defense, and special needs classes for students with developmental disabilities. A free trial class is available for new students.

Koshiki Karate-Do was founded in 1990 by Sensei Bruce Schram and his teacher Roy Oyakawa and has been a prominent school of martial arts in the South Bay for nearly 30 years. Sensei Schram retired and passed the school on to his three senior students, and listed sensei now include Jason Flentye, Ryan Tanaka, Austin Greene, Jason Lockhart, and Bryan Orellana. Bruce is a 7th degree black belt in Shorin-Ryu, held a 1st degree black belt in Kenpo and Tae-Kwon-Do, and was a 5-time National Koshiki Karate Champion and 6-time World Koshiki Karate Champion. Sensei Jason Flentye is 4th Dan, began training at age 9 in 1990, earned 1st Dan Yudansha in 1994, and has held titles for sparring, kata, and weapons at local, state, and international levels. Sensei Ryan Tanaka is 4th Dan with 30 years of experience in different styles of martial arts. Sensei Austin Greene is 3rd Dan, has 28 years of martial arts experience in Kenpo and Shorin-Ryu, has been named the California State, National, and World Koshiki Karate Champion, and has competed multiple times on American Ninja Warrior.
The dojo states that its primary focus is learning martial arts techniques and that students at Koshiki grow in discipline and respect for themselves, peers, authority, and society; build self-awareness of their abilities and are challenged to develop new skills; gain self-confidence to face adversity in life; and develop a healthy lifestyle of physical bodily training, with a stated goal of balancing mind, body, and spirit. Classes are offered for children, adults, and persons with developmental disabilities. Koshiki Karate-Do has been awarded Best Martial Arts School in Lawndale for 2024 and 2025.
