Debbie Felt's Preschool

Debbie Felt's Preschool offers activities such as water activities, walks, nature explorations, games, music, gardening, time with animals, and Arts & Crafts. The program offers both preschool and Pre-K experiences with learning through play and an emphasis on being outdoors. The program accepts children who are not yet potty trained and will help with potty training at no extra cost.

• Schedule: Half-day morning, half-day afternoon, and extended-day options, with choices of two, three, or five days per week; summer camps run weekly from June 8–12, June 15–19, June 22–26, July 6–10, July 13–17, July 20–24, and July 27–31, 2026
• Price: Half days 8:30–11:30 at $80/week (2 days, T/Th), $120/week (3 days, M/W/F), or $150/week (5 days, M–F); full days 8:30–3:00 at $115/week (2 days, T/Th), $150/week (3 days, M/W/F), or $195/week (5 days, M–F); $75 registration/enrollment fee per child

Debbie Felt is the owner and operator. She was raised in Auburn, California, attended Colfax High School, Sierra College, and Barclay College for Paralegal Studies, and worked as a paralegal for nine years before returning to Sierra College to major in Early Child Education. She added 26 units and earned a degree in Early Childhood Development and has 26+ years of experience serving Lincoln, California families.

The program has been serving Lincoln since 1999, when Debbie Felt’s Childcare opened in May of that year, and it has specialized in preschool and pre-K since 2016. The program states that it has developed a balance of learning through play with enough structure to support the transition from home to school, with a focus on learning through play outdoors. It is licensed (License# 313607138), insured, and offers healthy meals and snacks, developmentally appropriate curriculum for those who want it, and summer camps for children ages 2–10.
