Lincoln Jiu Jitsu Academy Youth Jiu Jitsu Classes introduces kids and teens to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu through Youth Jiu Jitsu Classes that include both Gi and No-Gi training. The broader academy also offers Traditional Gi Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, No-Gi Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Wrestling for Jiu Jitsu, Kids Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai Striking, Women’s Jiu Jitsu and Self-Defense, Adult Jiu Jitsu Training, and private lessons in Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai.

Lincoln Jiu Jitsu Academy, LLC was founded in Lincoln, CA in 2022 by husband and wife team Chuy and Ashley Moreno, and they joined the Aspire to Inspire Jiu Jitsu organization as an affiliate gym in March of 2023. In June of 2023, the academy expanded to double its mat space, and in July of 2024, Chuy’s brother Manny Moreno joined as a co-head instructor, with Chuy and Manny leading instruction as Moreno Brothers BJJ at Lincoln Jiu Jitsu Academy. The academy states that it is proud to offer a safe, clean, and comfortable training environment for all individuals and welcomes students across ages, levels, and backgrounds.
Co-head instructor and co-owner Chuy Moreno is a second-degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, a certified Muay Thai kru, and has been training and teaching for over 15 years. Co-head instructor Manny Moreno is a second-degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, a decorated competitor, and has been training and teaching for over 16 years. Lincoln Jiu Jitsu Academy is an affiliate gym of the Aspire to Inspire Jiu Jitsu organization.
The academy offers a free one-week trial for new students, and visitors are welcome to drop in to regularly scheduled classes. Private Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai lessons are available for purchase online.
Parent and student feedback includes comments that the atmosphere is welcoming, that the gym is clean with solid rounds and instruction, and that it is “an amazing place for kids and adults” and “like a family.” Parents report children attending classes multiple days per week, and one parent notes that the schedule allows their child to attend up to six days a week.
