Visual Arts & Creative Storytelling Camps include activities such as galaxy paintings, jumping rockets, and making art. Campers take part in ice breakers, games, and different projects. The Culture House states that camps are capped at 10 students per week in order to maintain low student to teacher ratios. Camps are described as allowing for close-knit relationship building in a positive environment for students of all abilities and learning styles. For Visual Arts & Creative Storytelling Camps, students explore a variety of artistic mediums and ways to tell their stories through the arts. The Culture House is a nonprofit community arts organization located in Northern California that partners with the community to provide opportunities for creating, growing, and sharing stories through the arts. Its mission is to partner with the community to provide sustainable and intergenerational opportunities for creating, growing, and sharing stories through the arts. The Founder & Director, Jana Dykhuis (also referred to as Jana Qiu), has degrees and experience in arts education, from traditional classroom teaching to summer camps and more. Summer Interns are studying or have graduated with degrees in education, music, or the arts, and all personnel complete background checks and training prior to camps. The leadership team includes Founder & Director Jana Dykhuis (Jana Qiu), and a Board of Directors made up of Jana Qiu (President), Kevin Adams (Vice President), Elena Bolha (Secretary), Timothy Dykhuis (Treasurer), and Samantha Born (Board Member).
