• Ages: 6–17 years old
• Schedule: Four-week instruction program operated by U.S. Baseball Academy

U.S. Baseball Academy states that its mission is to help young players develop solid fundamentals and learn proper techniques at a young age. The program is developed by a national coaching and advisory staff that includes Major League players Adam Eaton, Travis Shaw, and Craig Stammen. It is described as the nation’s largest baseball camp company, with operations in 45 states and more than 225 camps nationwide, and reports serving more than a quarter million players over the last 10 years. Baseball training is available for players in grades 1–12, and clinics are tailored for rec league, little league, high school, senior league, and travel team players.

At U.S. Baseball Academy Spring Training, players learn from high school and/or college coaches from the local area, including some of the best coaches in the Lincoln area and some of the area’s top high school and college coaches. Each location follows the same itinerary of drills, a low player-coach ratio, and a teaching staff of high school and/or college coaches from the area. The program offers numerous age-specific sessions with instruction for all ability levels, and each player receives individual attention in a small-group setting. Space is limited by the low player-coach ratio, pre-registration is required, and early registration discounts are available, with an option to register now and pay later.

The camp includes sessions covering pitching, hitting, catching, fielding, and baserunning. A Triple Play special offers a choice of three skill sessions (hitting, pitching, catching, or fielding/baserunning) at a discount for 18 hours of instruction, and families can add one additional skill at a reduced price compared with regular prices. The summer program focuses on development in hitting, pitching, and fielding in a fun-filled environment. The camp runs four days, with morning instruction focused on hitting and defense, and afternoon sessions focused on situational baseball games, competition drills, and a Wiffle Ball World Series, with prizes for winners.

The organization describes itself as a national program with a local touch and the country’s largest network of baseball camps. This program offers an opportunity for youth baseball players from Clayton, Gold Hill, Lincoln, Loomis, Penryn, Rocklin, Virginiatown, Whitney, and other surrounding communities. Bill Gibbs, Head Coach at Twelve Bridges High School, directs the winter baseball camp in Lincoln, California, in conjunction with U.S. Baseball Academy. The leadership team also includes Senior Vice President Joe Marker, Director of Marketing & Operations Jeffery Lee, Camp Success Team Manager Cody Nelson, and Assistant Camp Success Team Manager Andrea Jolly.
