Cooking with Kids Foundation

Cooking with Kids Foundation offers children the opportunity to engage in activities such as cooking, creating shopping lists, doing mindful grocery shopping, reading food labels, and cooking nutritious food. The program focuses on teaching unique skills that empower kids in the kitchen.

• Ages: 6–13 years old
• Schedule: Fall 2025 Cooking class schedule, 5 week sessions, 3 day Bread & soup & dessert camp

The leadership team includes Chef Lynda Rexroat as the Founder and CEO, John F. Rexroat as the Founder and Secretary, Bill Durkin as the School Garden Coordinator, and Christian G.P. Brockmann handling Marketing. Cooking with Kids Foundation is a recognized Non-Profit Organization and holds a 501 (c) (3) status with the number 26-0687839. The mission of the foundation is to promote children's health and create awareness of obesity and type II diabetes through teaching children how to use kitchen tools and prepare healthy meals.
