Learning Care Academy (LCA) Livermore After School Care and Enrichment Programs

Learning Care Academy (LCA) Livermore After School Care and Enrichment Programs offers after school care, school pickup, and enrichment activities for students in grades TK–8. The program includes morning care, dedicated homework help, and curriculum classes along with playtime with learning. Students can take part in activities such as art, art and craft, dance, yoga, public speaking, movies, park visits, fun theme parties, and field trips, as well as STEAM programs that feature coding, game design, robotics, 3D printing, AR, VR, and XR.

• Schedule: Hours Monday–Friday (open each weekday)

The program uses collaboration and innovation with STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) learning methods and includes STEAM enrichment programs in its summer camps. It follows all stated safety measures each day for kids and staff. The program states that it understands that every student has different strengths and areas that need improvement and tailors the program accordingly, noting that strong students get an extra edge and that struggling students have seen a complete turnaround in their grades. Its mission states that LCA offers the space for children to explore their passions through creative problem-solving, activities, and games, with activities that grow social-emotional intelligence and develop character.
