The leadership team includes Owner/Head Instructor/Team Coach Amy Avila, Head Instructors Mary Lou Lewis and Kelsey Ensing, and assistant instructors Elizabeth, Grace, Josie, Maile, Izzy, Lily, Alison, and Rachel. Staff credentials include Amy Avila, who has competed in gymnastics and acrobatics, has over 25 years of experience teaching recreational and competitive gymnastics, and is USA Gymnastics Certified; Mary Lou Lewis, who is a former Gymkana competitive member with over 40 years of experience teaching recreational gymnastics; and Kelsey Ensing, who has competed in gymnastics, has 13 years of experience teaching recreational gymnastics, and is USA Gymnastics Certified. Some staff members are noted as USA Gymnastics Certified. The program includes a competitive team where practices are described as a more intense workout for gymnasts interested in competing, and gymnasts work to develop their USA Gymnastics routines and prepare for levels 1 through 5 competition. The program states that everyone is a superstar there, that its knowledgeable staff of instructors make each class a fun and exciting learning experience, and that instructors are there to help each gymnast build confidence and achieve personal goals on spring floor, bars, balance beam, vault, rings, tumble trak, and trampoline. The program also states that its offerings can help children gain a sense of body awareness, strengthen muscles, and improve flexibility, and that its safe facility offers activities for all ages. Families are invited to schedule a free trial class at Livermore Gymnastic Center, where skilled instructors guide children through lessons described as fun, with a focus on boosting confidence and fitness.
