About

Livermore School of Dance offers classes in ballet, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, lyrical, modern, musical theater, creative movement, pointe, improv, tap, floor barre, and tumbling. The studio is a non-competition dance studio that offers classes in a professional and nurturing environment and provides multiple performance opportunities a year. Summer registration is open, and the studio offers free trial classes and classes for dancers of all ages and skills, including dancers ages 1 ½ through adult from beginning through advanced levels.

Livermore School of Dance was created in 2004, and almost 20 years later, co-creators and founders Liz Roberts and Shelly Schoendienst have retired, and Brittany (Bond-Braatz) Lee is the owner and director. The leadership team has included Brittany (Bond-Braatz) Lee as Director and Owner, with Liz Roberts and Shelly Schoendienst as co-creators and founders. The studio’s mission is to promote self confidence and a love for dance in a professional and nurturing environment, with a primary goal to build self-confidence in all dancers while teaching them proper technique in a safe and comforting environment. Brittany Lee majored in English and Dance at San José State University, was part of SJSU’s contemporary dance company UDT (University Dance Theater), earned her BFA in Dance, and received the award of “Outstanding Graduating Senior.” Additional staff credentials include Megan Blatt, who obtained three AA degrees at Las Positas College; Chalayna Bergh, who is majoring in Child and Adolescent Development at Las Positas College and received her Associates Degree in 2023; Delaney Richards, who graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance and a minor in Marketing; and Jordan Higby, who earned certification and licensure in Phlebotomy from Contra Costa Medical Career College, a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from California Baptist University in 2022, and a Master’s degree in Strategic Communication in 2024.
