About
Livermore School of Dance offers classes in ballet, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, lyrical, modern, musical theater, creative movement, pointe, tap, floor barre, tumbling, and improv. The studio is described as a non-competition dance studio and offers multiple performance opportunities each year. Summer registration is open, and the program offers free trial classes.

Livermore School of Dance was created in 2004 by Liz Roberts and Shelly Schoendienst in Livermore, California. Almost 20 years later, Liz and Shelly retired, and Brittany (Bond-Braatz) Lee, one of their first students, became the owner and director. The studio offers classes for dancers of all ages and skills, from beginning through advanced levels. The mission of Livermore School of Dance states that it promotes self confidence and a love for dance in a professional and nurturing environment, with a primary goal to build self-confidence in all dancers while teaching proper technique in a safe and comforting environment, and that it continues to provide a supportive and nurturing environment for dancers to grow and learn.
Director and owner Brittany Lee majored in English and Dance at San José State University, was part of SJSU’s contemporary dance company UDT (University Dance Theater), earned her BFA in Dance, and received the award of “Outstanding Graduating Senior.” Instructor Delaney Richards graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance and a minor in Marketing. Instructor Jordan Higby earned certification and licensure in Phlebotomy from Contra Costa Medical Career College, a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies in 2022, and a Master’s degree in Strategic Communication in 2024 from California Baptist University.
