Livermore Valley Arts states that youth are always free at its programs. Visual Art Camps and Classes are offered for kids, adults, and families in a welcoming, inclusive environment, with scholarships available and a 10% savings on all art classes, camps, and workshops for LVA Members. Morning Figure Drawing is described as the Tri Valley’s longest-running figure drawing workshop, has no instructor, is welcoming and supportive for artists of all skill levels, and allows participants under 18 to attend with parental permission in writing. Models for Morning Figure Drawing are provided through the Bay Area Models Guild and pose primarily nude, occasionally in costume or with props, and represent a diverse range of body types and ages.
Livermore Valley Arts’ mission is to offer a broad range of arts opportunities and experiences to engage, enrich, and inspire its diverse community. Livermore Valley Arts also offers performances, events, exhibits, and classes, and notes that Cantabella Children’s Chorus and Del Valle Fine Arts are part of the local arts community, with Del Valle Fine Arts admitting children free and offering reduced-price tickets for full-time students above high school. The organization’s leadership team includes Executive Director Chris Carter and Visual Arts & Education Manager Anne Giancola, along with staff in finance, administration, marketing, operations, production, front of house, facilities and IT, box office, development, programs, social media, food and beverage, and visitor services.
