About

SPARC Theater After-School Programs include activities such as the Science@Play Reading Series and Shakespeare's Birthday Bash. The programs also feature So Wise So Young, a literacy program for K–12 students, and bring original stories to life for young performers, including a new original play for elementary-aged participants called Snow White and the Seven Elves, written by longtime SPARC volunteer and local author Amy Pittel. Families attending performances connected with these programs can experience the rustic elegance of SPARC Theater's new home and may enjoy award-winning wines by the glass or bottle, bring their own picnic, pick up food from a favorite downtown restaurant, or order from a favorite food delivery app.

• Ages: 5–18 years old

SPARC Theater celebrates its 20th Anniversary Season with a focus called Theater with Purpose, which in this season confronts technology, memory, and the search for truth. SPARC teaching artists work in all second grade classrooms of the Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District, and Taste Tri-Valley Restaurant Week benefits SPARC Theater. SPARC Theater has been voted best live theater by East Bay readers three years in a row.
