Brazilian Top Team Long Beach Kids Self Defense introduces children to kids self defense within a larger training environment that includes Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, Mixed Martial Arts, Wrestling, and women’s self defense. The program takes place at Brazilian Top Team Long Beach, which is part of a broader team with many branches.
Brazilian Top Team was established in April of 2000, and the Long Beach academy was established in 2002. The Long Beach academy is led by Marcelo Perdomo, a 4th Degree Black Belt under Murilo Bustamante and Head of Brazilian Top Team Long Beach. The wider team leadership includes Murilo Bustamante, a 7th Degree Coral Belt under Carlson Gracie, Co-Founder of Brazilian Top Team, former UFC Middleweight champion, and CBJJ world champion. The mission of Brazilian Top Team Long Beach is to offer world-class Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, and Mixed Martial Arts instruction with a proven record of competition, lineage, and tradition, with high quality training partners and a team atmosphere that continues a Brazilian lineage and tradition in Long Beach, CA. The team has been recognized as the 2019 Long Beach International Open Champions and as the No. 1 Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and MMA Team in Long Beach.
