Level Up Dance Studio offers dance and performing arts classes that include ballet, tap, jazz, jazz/funk, K-Pop, salsa, bachata, cumbia, ballroom, burlesque, Cabaret Burlesque, All Bodies Burlesque, beginner heels, intermediate heels, dance fitness, and a mobility class. The program also offers social dancing, a seated dance class with an online option, private lessons, choreography, summer camp, and room rentals, as well as pole and aerial classes through Level Up Dance, Pole, and Aerial and the Long Beach Burlesque Weekend Intensive.

Level Up Dance Studio has been Signal Hill's go-to spot for dance for over a decade. The studio describes its mission as creating a welcoming space that celebrates diversity and fosters a love for movement in all its forms, with a community rooted in respect, diversity, and inclusion. It offers beginner-friendly dance classes for adults, fun and welcoming dance classes for kids, drop-in dance classes, and 6-week progressive series, with classes described as approachable, accessible, educational, and fun, and based on an inclusive theory that dance is for everyone, regardless of age or ability.
The leadership team includes Krista, who is a beginner burlesque instructor; Tim, who teaches beginner and advanced beginner salsa as well as bachata and hip hop classes; Audra, who handles the front desk and teaches burlesque; Johnny, who is a jazz/funk and dance fitness instructor; Justine, who is the resident mobility expert; Andrea, who teaches salsa, cumbia, and ballroom classes; Honey, who is the instructor for All Bodies Burlesque; Angie, who is an instructor of classical styles; Reina, who is the K-Pop instructor; and Chris, who is the beginner heels instructor. Staff details also note that Johnny has been active in the dance community in the Long Beach area and Yuma, Arizona for decades, Angie is a seasoned instructor of classical styles newly relocated from Charleston, SC with a lifetime of experience and education, and Andrea is an accomplished dancer.
The studio notes that it offers spacious studios available to rent for classes, parties, and more. Community involvement includes a Studio Picnic at Los Cerritos Park on July 26, 2026, from 4 PM to 7 PM.
