About the provider

Children are required to wear or bring long pants and closed-toe shoes to work with the shelter animals. Campers also need a full bottle of water labeled with the camper’s name, a pair of long pants, a snack from home, and any medication or items they may need while at camp. All dogs approved for camp have undergone a behavioral assessment, and if a shelter dog needs to be removed for health reasons, an ambassador dog will temporarily take their place. Camp staff will not be responsible for administering medication to campers, and scholarships are available.
