Kombat Karate

Kombat Karate offers Kids Karate for ages 46, Kadets Karate for ages 711, Teens Karate for ages 12+, and Adult Karate for ages 16+. The Kids Karate and Kadets Karate programs are Shotokan karate classes, and the Teens Karate program includes traditional kata, kumite, and practical self-defense. The program notes that no gear is required, just comfortable athletic clothes, and that parents stay and watch kids classes.

• Adult Karate — 16+ · Wednesday — 7:00 PM · $15 · Traditional karate with modern purpose — strength, self-defense and mental clarity for men and women of all fitness levels. 1-day trial lesson; no gear required — just comfortable athletic clothes.

About the provider

Kombat Karate is led by Sensei Ryan and Senpai Nancy. Sensei Ryan is certified by Sensei James Yabe, and the program states that its certified instructors teach real Shotokan karate passed down from Japan and that it is 4th-generation Shotokan, rooted in the lineage of Sensei James Yabe.
