Parkcrest Preschool

Parkcrest Preschool offers a Core Program with structured, developmentally appropriate preschool education and hands-on experiences. It also offers optional early care, extended care with enrichment activities, creative exploration, and guided play, plus Discovery Sessions with after-school enrichment classes. The Summer Session includes outdoor play, sensory experiences, art, music, and seasonal adventures.

• Core Program — 2 years, 9 months through entry into Kindergarten; admission age eligible: 2 years old - 5 years old · 2-Day, 3-Day, or 5-Day schedules; 9:00am - 1:00pm · Structured, developmentally appropriate preschool education with hands-on experiences; follows same curriculum and daily structure across options.
• Summer Session — 2 years old through entry into Kindergarten · Monday-Thursday, 9:00am-1:00pm · $145 per week · Summer program with outdoor play, sensory experiences, art, music, and seasonal adventures; optional Stay & Play extended hours available.

Parkcrest Preschool has served families since 1973. The leadership team includes Chelsey Schlatter, Director, and Jennifer Perez, Assistant Director. The school states that its mission is to bring hope by providing a safe and enriching environment that fosters growth and development in ways that are fun, faith-centered, and impactful. Staff qualifications include 12 or more units of child development coursework from an accredited college, State of California certifications, FBI and DOJ background clearances, and current CPR, First Aid, and Mandated Reporter certifications.

• Stay & Play — Children enrolled in the Core Program · 1:00pm - 4:00pm · Optional extended care with enrichment activities, creative exploration, and guided play.
• Discovery Sessions — Children enrolled at Parkcrest · Tuesdays or Wednesdays; 1:00pm - 2:00pm; 5 consecutive weeks · $75 per session · Optional after-school enrichment classes; limited enrollment.

• Priority registration for the 2027–2028 school year — First consideration is given to currently enrolled Parkcrest Preschool families and active Parkcrest Christian Church families.
• General registration for the 2027–2028 school year — Registration opens to the wider community.

Non-discrimination policy: no family is excluded on the basis of race, religion, national origin, ancestry, or lifestyle choice. Children enrolling must be at least 2 years old, able to safely participate in a group preschool setting, and meet California immunization requirements. Children may enroll at any stage of potty training through the Toileting Support Program. Waitlist is available when programs reach capacity.
