Parkcrest Preschool offers hands-on experiences that include early literacy, math, social-emotional growth, independence, enrichment activities, creative exploration, and guided play experiences. The program follows structured, developmentally appropriate preschool education and uses readiness guidelines that include bathroom independence, managing personal needs, and participating safely and appropriately in a small group setting.

• Schedule: Core program with 2-, 3-, or 5-day options and extended care choices
Parkcrest Preschool offers a thoughtful early learning program for children ages 2 years, 9 months through entry into Kindergarten. Children enrolling at Parkcrest must use the bathroom independently and manage personal needs. Families may choose from 2-day, 3-day, or 5-day schedules that include a Core Program from 9:00am to 1:00pm, with optional Early Start from 8:00am to 9:00am and Stay & Play from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. Office hours run Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm.
Each teacher has completed 12 or more units of child development coursework from an accredited college and holds all required State of California certifications. All team members complete FBI and DOJ background clearances prior to hire and maintain current CPR, First Aid, and Mandated Reporter certifications. The staff participates in quarterly professional development days focused on curriculum, licensing standards, developmental milestones, and continued personal and professional growth, and they hold regular team meetings to keep classrooms aligned and communication strong. The current leadership and staff team includes Director Chelsey Schlatter, Assistant Director Jennifer Perez, teachers Katie Parrish, Denise Heckerman, Judy Martinez, Lauren Jolley, Johanna Branson, and Emma Wolosewicz, aides Madison Haley, Elizabeth Carne, Kim Roberts, and Delane Nelson, and custodian Jose Zuniga.
Parkcrest Preschool has been serving young children and families with structured, developmentally appropriate preschool education since 1973. The program operates in compliance with California Community Care Licensing Division requirements under License # 191602162. Parkcrest Preschool has a non-discrimination policy stating that no family is excluded on the basis of race, religion, national origin, ancestry, or lifestyle choice.
