TopSail Youth and STEM programs is a flagship program aboard Tall Ship American Pride. It is available as a day sail, a multi-day voyage, or both, and it can be customized to specific age groups and educational priorities for students in upper elementary school through 12th grade.

About the provider
Children's Maritime Institute has provided hands-on learning experiences to young people for more than 30 years. It says that the organization empowers youth to discover their highest potential and fosters awareness and appreciation for the ocean through hands-on and at-sea experiences and education.
All programs are booked through the parent organization, the Los Angeles Maritime Institute (LAMI). Programs are geared toward students in upper elementary school through 12th grade and can be customized to specific age groups and educational priorities. They can include three- to four-hour discovery sails, multi-day/night immersive voyages, or semester-long comprehensive courses. The program is not limited to under-resourced communities.
