VDE Horsemanship Camps offer a range of activities including horse care, handling, grooming, outdoor games, arts and crafts, riding, daily riding lessons, mounted games, and bareback riding. The program takes place at the Westwind Community Barn, providing a comprehensive experience for participants.

The program has been running since 2014 and is led by a team including Torie Dye, Heather Franco, Kate Richardson, and Cam Trepanier. The Westwind IEA team has achieved recognition as Region 4 high point for both middle and high school teams, with the high school team being zone champions. The venue features state-of-the-art boarding facilities, professional horse care, 63 miles of maintained trails, and two arenas with specialized footing.
