Jardín de Mariposas School offers science, art, nature exploration, and gardening, including planting, weeding, watering, and harvesting. Children explore and create in outdoor classrooms, take part in a music program with songs, movement, instruments, beginning music theory, choral notes, and songs with piano, and participate in animal care with a rabbit, hen, and bearded dragon by feeding, petting, observing behavior, and learning about habitat. The program uses music as the foundation of language and includes a Spanish music class for babies and toddlers.

Jardín de Mariposas School is a nature-focused Spanish immersion school with an extensive campus that includes outdoor classrooms, an expansive educational garden, a playground, an outdoor garden/orchard classroom, indoor/outdoor classrooms, and a dedicated Science classroom and STEAM studio. Students spend 75% of the day outdoors in spaces such as an 1800 sq foot garden classroom with an outdoor stage, a grape-covered house for gathering, a story tree, a chalkboard wall, and over 25 fruit trees and vines, and they explore the Beth Am Campus. Children are caretakers of the garden, and caring for animals is an integral part of nature and social/emotional education in an organic environment where children learn to respect and appreciate nature.
The mission of Jardín de Mariposas School is to cultivate a caring community of multilingual life-long learners in a natural and inspirational setting. In 2020, the school expanded its vegetable garden and created the 1800 sq foot garden classroom for its community. The leadership team includes Founder and Director Melissa Graney, Assistant Director Eda Cano, teachers Maestra Deysi and Maestra Yaya, Maestra Robin who leads 2 and 3 year olds in a weekly song, movement, and instruments class, and Maestra Yael who leads 4 and 5 year olds in beginning music theory, choral notes, and songs with the piano.
