About
Aloha Volleyball Club offers volleyball training and competition, including power teams, position training, and a developmental Aloha Volleyball Club Girls U12 Junior League. The club also runs Aloha Open Gym sessions and enters teams in multiple league events, regional tournaments, and national-level competitions across different age divisions.
• Ages: 11–18 years old
• Schedule: Open gym sessions in late January; U12 Junior League tournaments from February through May; fall league events from September through November; fall tournaments in early and mid-December; and additional/summer tournaments from January through July, with power teams training 2–3 nights per week.
Aloha Volleyball Club states that it provides student athletes with the opportunity to participate and develop in the sport of volleyball, building leaders on and off the court. All teams are coached by experienced coaches from high school, club, and college levels, and head coaches have years of experience coaching high school or college volleyball along with club volleyball. All power coaches are IMPACT certified through USA Volleyball, and some coaches have also participated in additional Gold Medal Squared training, with that knowledge shared among coaches for a cohesive playing environment. The club notes that power teams’ tournament schedules are set to give maximum exposure to college coaches through competitive events such as National Qualifiers and the SoCal Showcase, and that power teams in each age division may participate in Qualifiers and Far Westerns to compete for a possible opportunity to advance to the Junior Nationals Tournament (Junior Olympics). Aloha Volleyball Club also reports specific competitive results, including Aloha 15 Gold as Flight 1 Champions in 15 Club at SoCal Cup: The Showcase, Aloha 15 Gold as Flight 3 Champions in 15 Club at AAU Boys Junior Nationals, and Aloha 16 Blue as Flight 9 Champions in 17 Club at AAU Boys Junior Nationals.
