Golden Eagle Summer Sports Camp is an all-sports day camp where campers take part in sports, games, dance, and tennis. Each camp day is organized into 6–7 activity periods plus lunch, and for every activity period, each age group is offered 2–3 activity choices. Campers are grouped by grade level (K–2nd, 3rd–4th, and 5th–8th) with an approximate 10:1 camper-to-counselor ratio, and the camp will operate rain or shine with no refunds issued due to inclement weather.

• Price: $575/week Standard Camp Day (Early Bird until 4/15); +$120/week AM Extended Care; +$120/week PM Extended Care; hourly extended care available at $25/hour; $575 Standard Weekly Rate (Early Bird) for 7 periods of Sports & Games 10:00–4:00, Monday–Friday; $120 Morning Extended Care Open Gym 7:30–9:30am, Monday–Friday; $120 Afternoon Extended Care with afternoon movie and snack 4:00–6:00pm, Monday–Friday
Golden Eagle Summer Sports Camp runs weekly sessions such as June 8–12, 2026; June 15–18, 2026 (4-day week); June 22–26, 2026; June 29–July 1, 2026 (3-day week); July 6–10, 2026; July 13–17, 2026; July 20–24, 2026; July 27–31, 2026; and August 3–7, 2026. New for Summer 2026, the camp offers a Transitional Kindergarten (TK) program at the Los Altos location only, which follows the same full-day schedule as the K–8 program with smaller group sizes, modified activities, and additional breaks and transitions. The staff consists of local high school and college students, most of whom attended Golden Eagle as campers themselves, and all counselors are CPR and First Aid certified and highly trained in the sports they lead. This program is led by an experienced TK coordinator with a background in early childhood education.
Since 1984, Golden Eagle Summer Sports Camp has been owned and operated by the Lodge Family as a family run business, and 2026 will mark its 42nd year. The camp describes itself as one of the oldest, most respected, and affordable camps in the Los Altos and Cupertino area and as an all-sports day camp and variety-based camp where campers rotate through many different games and activities. Golden Eagle Summer Sports Camp proudly serves families in Los Altos, Cupertino, and San Jose and states that it is one of the longest running and most respected camps in the area. The camp offers $20 for each new family that joins Golden Eagle for one or more weeks, with no limit on the number of families referred. The stated mission is: “At Golden Eagle we provide an environment for kids to lead an active healthy life while allowing them to be kids, have fun, and explore activities unique to their own interest.”
