IN THE MOMENT Dance Studio offers classes in dance and performing arts, including ballet, acro, hip-hop, lyrical, jazz, tap, contemporary, and musical theater. The studio also offers adult dance and fitness options such as line dancing and dance-inspired workouts, as well as “Let’s Dance together” Mommy & Me classes, competitive dance, and First Friday Line Dancing.

The studio’s mission states that it is a vibrant, community-focused dance studio where dancers of all ages and levels can discover their passion and potential in movement. IN THE MOMENT Dance Studio offers a Parent Portal, seasonal and summer class and camp schedules, a Youth 25–26 Schedule, adult classes for beginning and intermediate dancers, and opportunities for both group and private coaching. The studio has award-winning, nationally ranked competitive dance teams and competitive dance teams that emphasize technique, creativity, and camaraderie.

First Friday Line Dancing is described as an exciting community event for all ages, with both $10 and free First Friday Line Dancing nights mentioned, along with specialized workshops and seasonal events. “Let’s Dance together” Mommy & Me classes are designed especially for young children and their caregivers.

The leadership team includes Joce Satterberg, Aanica Gonzales, Kento Vo, Bailey Donnelly, and Alina Campbell. Joce is a San Francisco-based dance and wellness professional with a B.A. in Dance from San Francisco State, additional training in Exercise Wellness and Yoga, and certifications as a Personal Trainer, Nutritionist, Exercise Wellness Coach, and RYS500 Yoga instructor. She provides private and group coaching in competitive dance and full body rehabilitation and has taught for local theater dance companies, high school dance teams, district sports medicine lectures, strength training for competitive athletes, and RYS500 Yoga instruction. Joce has trained in tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, and modern dance since age three, began teaching at fifteen, has performed with multiple dance companies, and is the Artistic Director of FLIGHT Dance Collective.

Aanica’s background includes early training in rhythmic gymnastics, music theory, and local theatre performance, followed by a decade of training in ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, and modern. Aanica has trained and performed with the Joffrey Ballet School during summers, trained in Cecchetti Ballet from 2015 on, studied the Graham technique for years, and spent the last four years studying neurobiology at Caltech and working as a nanny for local families. Kento trained in Tae Kwon Do for 11 years and has over 10 years of training in hip-hop, breakdancing, and cheerleading. Kento won multiple first-place awards in hip-hop competitions as a member of the Booftroop Hip-Hop Dance Company from 2008–2013 and has taught at Silver Creek and Lincoln High School, serving as hip-hop choreographer and director of Harker Conservatory Performing Arts all-boys middle school team.
