About

Los Altos & Los Altos Hills Little League is a community baseball program where kids play organized baseball. The program offers eight divisions of baseball and includes T-Ball, Minors A, Minors AA, Minors AAA, Majors, Juniors, Seniors, and Challenger divisions.

• Ages: 5–16 years old

Established in 1953, Los Altos & Los Altos Hills Little League is operated by local volunteers. Its stated mission is to promote fun, teamwork, and confidence in a safe environment where kids can learn the game of baseball. The program is part of Little League International’s District 44, along with Campbell Little League, Cupertino Little League, Moreland Little League, Mountain View Little League, Santa Clara Briarwood Little League, Santa Clara Westside Little League, Sunnyvale Metro Little League, Sunnyvale National Little League, and Sunnyvale Little League. The league notes that, regardless of physical size, skill, strength, gender, religion, or nationality, Little League offers the opportunity for a child to experience and benefit from life lessons, socialization, and camaraderie.

The leadership team includes commissioners for each baseball division: Eileen Lee (Baseball T-Ball Commissioner), Marissa Goodger (Baseball Minors A Commissioner), Mike Sgroi (Baseball Minors AA Commissioner), Allan McCall (Baseball Minors AAA Commissioner), Matt Lee (Baseball Majors Commissioner), and Ashton Grewal (Baseball Juniors, Seniors, and Challenger Commissioner). The board and key volunteers include Lori McKinney (President), Patrick Carey (Vice President and Fields Director), Kiernan Raffo (Player Agent), Sandor Barna (Registrar), Xiaolei Li (Safety Officer), Seth Peck (CFO), Alisa Dolby (Secretary), Brian Farhi (Marketing Director), Chris Hamby (Umpire Director), Claudine del Rosario (Umpire Scheduler), Jason Carballar (Fields Scheduler), Herb Marshall (Equipment Manager), Jason Papciak (Uniform Manager), and Aumi Wesley (Snack Shack Manager). The Town of Los Altos Hills has undertaken a project to enhance the Snack Shack at Purissima Park, and the league offers a new online store for LALL merchandise with options to ship to home or pick up at Goetz Brothers.
