Run for Fun Camps

Run for Fun Camps offers summer day camps, summer overnight camps, after school programs, holiday camps, birthday parties, and an optional one-night campout. Campers are placed in groups by age and grade, do rotational games in the mornings, and then choose games, sports, or crafts after the morning rotations. Camps are fully outdoors unless there is rain, when indoor space may be used.

About the provider

Run for Fun Camps was founded in 2010. Coach Alex is the Director of After School Programs, Coach Maddie is the Summer Camp Director, and Coach Dave is the Director of Summer Camps and Founder. The summer day and overnight camp on Pinecrest Lake in California have received accreditation from the American Camp Association. The program’s mission is to provide creative and engaging play for youth by getting kids active in an inclusive community centered around outdoor fun.

Scholarships are offered on a case-by-case basis. Campers must be signed up for the same track to be grouped together. Campout option is for kiddos going into 2nd grade and up. The campout fills up quickly and is capped at approximately 50 campers. Refund policy: before March 2nd there is a $50 cancellation refund or full credit to another session in Summer ’26; March 3rd-April 30th, 50% refund or full credit to another session in Summer ’26; May 1st on, no refund; transfer to another session in Summer ’26. Holiday Camps have no morning or extended care.
